Welcome to the official website of (1) the Fee Panel, which administers the Attorney Fee Funds (and their sub funds the Contingency Fee Funds and Common Benefit Funds) and (2) the Cost Fund Administrator, which administers the Litigating Subdivision Cost Funds. This website has been established to provide information to eligible Participating Litigating Subdivisions, Participating Tribal Governments, and their counsel regarding application procedures for awards from the Attorney Fee Funds and the Cost Funds created by Exhibit R of each of the following National Opioid Settlements:

On this website you will find: (1) relevant Orders entered by the MDL Court overseeing the National Prescription Opiate Litigation and the Fee Panel governing the process and procedures for applying to each of the Contingency Fee Funds, the Common Benefit Funds, and the Cost Funds (including deadlines); (2) the required Time Report and Expense Report applicants must submit when applying to the Common Benefit Funds and to the Cost Funds, respectively; and (3) instructions and training materials to assist applicants in preparing and submitting all information required to apply for an award from each of the three funds.
About The Fee Panel and Cost Fund Administrator
The Fee Panel and the Cost Fund Administrator are appointed by the MDL Court and are responsible, respectively, for the allocation of fees and costs from the Attorney Fee Funds and Cost Funds consistent with the MDL Court’s Order and the agreements on attorneys’ fees, expenses, and costs contained in each of the National Opioid Settlements.
